Globemaster AlliumZone 5 - 9
Produces huge, 8-10", globe-shaped purple flowers borne on stoud stalks about 30" tall. Each 'globe' is composed of dense star-shaped florets which bloom continuously for a month of more in early summer. Will go dormant by the end of July and retreat underground. Best grown in full sun and fertile, well drained soil. Will mutiply from year to year and if you are lucky even produce some seedlings. (15")
