Deep pink single blooms in September and October. More compact than most forms (2-3')

Japanese Anemone are outstanding perennials for the late summer and fall garden. Slow to establish they will however spread to create a large patch. Carefree and low maintenance, they are best grown in moist soil in a partly shaded garden. I have found, however, that they are also quite tolerant of a sunny, dry situation.
