This is likely the most well known Artemisia. A rock garden classic that forms an almost perfect mound of soft, silky, feathery foliage. Will grow to about 12" high and 3 ft wide. Needs a sunny situation and very well-drained soil. Hates winter wet. Towards the mid-summer may start to look a bit like your dog has been sleeping on it. Cut it back hard to encourage new, tidy growth. Drought tolerant.
