Canadian Ginger, Wild GingerZone 2 - 9
Low, creeping perennial with aromatic, leathery, heart-shaped leaves. A relatively fast spreading groundcover for a moist, shaded location. Also very tolerant of drier, sunnier condtions. Grown primarily for its lovely foliage but does have strange, burgundy, bell-shaped blooms in the spring. (6-8")
