A showy ornamental which is also an important plant for the Monarch Butterfly as well as other varieties. This is a rather delicate looking plant with large, flattened clusters of bright yellow flowers in mid-summer. Grows to about 2 ft and prefers a sunny, well-drained, fertile location. Easy to grow but must be protected from winter wet.
