This tall, hardy grass loves the water but will also thrive in a drier garden situation. Narrow, cascading, green foliage is set with a full, airy purple flower followed by thick, wheat coloured seedheads. Very attractive grass. It is clump-forming however it will seed itself. It is a great choice for naturalizing along a water landscape. Can be grown in sun to partial shade. (4-5')
