North American native with gorgeous foliage which resembles palm fronds -- very unusual tropical appearance. Use it in your pond instead of the annual papyrus of dwarf palms. A very versatile and tough plant that does well in wet or dry conditions. Put it in your pond or grow it under your trees. It is a clump-forming grass that is not invasive. Prefers part to full shade but is also tolerant of sunnier sites. (24-30")
