A huge, regal ornamental grass with spectacular fluffy white plumes. Best form and performance in full sun and well-drained soil. There is quite a bit of ambiguity regarding this plants hardiness. 'Expert' information rates the hardiness anywhere from Zone 5 to Zone 8. Unless you are gardening on the Sunshine Coast I think you will have difficulties overwintering Cortaderia with any consistency. However it is so spectacular it may still be further growing even if only as an annual. (10')
