Mat forming succulent similar to sedums but foliage is generally not evergreen in our climate. Set with masses of bright magenta blooms with white centres in mid-summer. Best in full sun, in very well-draining, sandy soil. Protect this low-growing (4-6") plant from winter wet. Very showy little plant for the rock garden, scree or container garden. Drought tolerant.
