Superb, slow spreading perennial for part to full-shade. Semi-evergreen, heart-shaped foliage which is flushed with bronze in colder weather. Very compact. Produces masses of dusky-pink to purple flowers in mid-spring and early summer. All season foliage interest. Great woodland subject. Although this is not a big plant, the form and foliage combine to create an exceptional effect. Drought tolerant. Not invasive! (8-10")
