Newer introduction. Apricot-orange petals with a golden-yellow blush at the tips. Orange centre. This is a colour breakthrough for this genus. A very cool plant. Blooms from June until frost if deadheaded. Best grown in a sunny, well drained location. Exceptionally tolerant of hot, dry conditons. Excellent cut flower and also attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. This perennial may bloom itself to death unless given a chance to have a rest in the fall. Cut it back hard at the end of August so that it can revitalize itself. (24")
