Excellent newer variety. Floriferous and exceptionally long flowering. Produces masses of deep violet, saucer-shaped blooms from late spring right into fall. Good upright form. Young foliage is orange and then yellow before turning green -- hence the name Blue Sunrise. Easily grown in sun to partial shade but best to keep it out of the hot afternoon sun. A great border ornamental but also would do well in container garden. (24")
