Japanese Forest Grass

New cultivar. Mounding plant with cascading, solid green foliage that will become rich, orange-red in the fall. Wonderful grass for containers, paired with Hosta or edging a water feature. Excellent ornamental for 3-season garden interest.

Slow to establish but well worth the effort. Best grown in partial to full shade, in fertile, humus-rich, moist soil that is well draining. Will not tolerate winter wet. (10-12")
