Helleborus was the 2005 Perennial Plant of the Year

A beautiful newer strain with outstanding vigour, uniformity and superior compact, upright form. Rich burgundy-pink buds open to ivory white blooms which become streaked with rose and chartreuse as they age. Flowers from late winter through mid-spring. (18`)

Helleborus are valued for their winter or early spring blooms. These clump-forming perennials require a well-drained, moist, fertile site in part to full shade. Avoid dry or water-logged soils and provide shelter from prevailing winter winds. Note: Helleborus are poisonous.
