Gorgeous alpine. Forms a leathery rosette of leaves set with dazzling blooms in a variety of colours ranging from pink through salmon, orange, yellow and white. Very hardy but must have excellent drainage in order to overwinter. A gravel-like mulch around the crown is helpful. Keep it away from big bully plants. Drought tolerant once established. Can be grown in sun to part shade. (6-8")
