All Ligularia have beautiful, highly ornamental foliage. This particular form has huge, very dramatic, rounded green leaves which are lobed and deeply incised. Stout stalks rising well above the foliage bear brilliant golden yellow blooms with orange centres. Flowers in mid-summer. A bold plant that will perform best in part to full shade in reasonably moist soil. Do not plant in a hot, sunny location as it will suffer horribly (and look it too!). A great pool-side plant. Grows 3-4' tall and just as wide.
