Gorgeous deeply cut, palm-like foliage. In early-to-mid summer it develops tall purple-black stems (up to 6') bearing dense racemes of yellow flowers. Wonderful in a mass planting. Easy to grow in a partially shaded location and moist, fertile soil. Contrary to most literature, these plants do not like the sun. Intense sun will cause the foliage to wilt and look terrible.
