Quite an odd and interesting perennial blooming late summer and early fall. Iris-like foliage set with stout stalks bearing brightly coloured blooms brushed with gold. Blooms are a variety of colours -- orange, yellow, red, plum. Followed by large decorative seed heads which persist most of the winter. Needs a sunny, well-drained location. (12-15")
