Vigorous and very hardy. Large, dark-green, leathery foliage which turns a fabulous scarlet-red and orange in the fall. Very tolerant of less than ideal sites and tough urban conditions. Can be grown in sun or shade in almost any type of soil. Will grow 50-60' but can be easily trimmed to control its size.
