1995 Perennial of the Year

Lovely and very elegant, aromatic sub-shrub, with silvery-grey foliage and airy, lavender-blue flowers. Blooms from mid-summer to frost. Prefers a full sun situation and ordinary, but very well drained soil. Great cut flower for dry or fresh arrangements. Grows 3-5' tall. In the early spring, cut back to about 12" from the ground to encourage new bushy growth. Drought tolerant.
