Forms a low-growing mound of dark green leathery leaves. Tall, swaying spikes are covered with masses of large, saucer-shaped blooms in assorted colours including white, pink, violet or dark-purple. Note: Each plant will only sport blooms of one colour however there maybe considerable variation in shading. Blooms throughout the summer and usually reblooms if spent stalks are cut back. True perennial. Best grown in full sun and well drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. (48")
