A plant with presence and great beauty. Growing tall and upright set with long spires of lilac-blue flowers in late summer. Excellent for cutting. Loved by hummingbirds and butterflies. Wonderful with tall ornmental grasses. Best form in full sun but can also be grown in part shade. For a more compact plant cut it back by one half in June. (5-6')
