Ornamental Grasses - General Information Grasses can bring a very strong ornamental and architectural presence to the garden that is not possible to get any other way. They add unique texture, colour and drama, particularly later in the season. Most grasses are low-maintenance and easy to grow. Many gardeners are concerned that grasses will take over the garden but most of the modern-day ornamental grasses are very well behaved, clump-forming plants. There is a grass for virtually any garden situation from tiny dwarfs to bold 15' giants. Try a couple and surprise yourself! Please note: Virtually all grasses are grown in 6" or gallon container. A few of the lower priced varieties will have been grown in smaller pots. |
