Jovibarba are cute little plants that form a tight rosette of succlent foliage. They are drought tolerant and love a hot, sunny, dry location. Some groups of Jovibarba grow little offsets on short stolons. These fragile stolon eventually dry-up and the offset is set loose to roll away from its parent. Hence they are collectively called 'Rollers'. Most varieties are green and become flushed with red, pink and purple when the weather becomes cooler or in very dry conditions. Very useful and fun plant for containers, borders, the rock garden and along pathways.

Grown in a 9 cm pot.
