DESCRIPTION: It has a woody trunk and branches with tender stems holding long pointed leaves. Produces small, pale mauve flowers from summer to autumn. Leaves have a strong lemon fragrance and flavour.

CULINARY: The leaves and flowering tops are used in teas and to flavour alcoholic beverages. The plant is also an ingredient in some desserts, fruit salads and jams. Leaves are great for tea.
