Welcome to our on-line CATALOGUE  which contains over 1200 varieties of  hardy perennials, Hosta, daylilies, ornamental grasses, vines, shrubs and waterplants.  The catalogue is supported by a simple-to-use shopping cart system and is completely secure.   Please read the information below before you order.

Mail Order Procedure  - Shipping and Pick-up
All  pricing in the catalogue is in Canadian dollars.
We ship plants anywhere in Canada.   The minimum order is $25.  Sorry, we do not ship outside of Canada.
 

Select your plants from the CATALOGUE  following the easy to use shopping cart system.

The total cost of your order is calculated automatically, including applicable taxes and shipping. You will be given a choice of shipping method -- Expedited Post or Express Post.   If you reside in Ontario or urban Quebec and Manitoba Expedited Post is an economical and safe method of shipping your plants.  If you reside outside of these areas we strongly recommend that you select Express Post to ensure that your plants arrive in good condition.

BC, Yukon, Nunavut and NWT - sorry, the only shipping option is Express.
 

Ontario residents have the 'shipping' option of picking up their plants.  Picking up your plants will save you 10%. 

We accept VISA and Mastercard.  Your payment can be securely processed directly on-line.  If you prefer, you may order on-line and send your credit card number and expiry date by mail or fax.  Or you can send a cheque.  You can also fax or mail your order along with your credit card number and the expiry date.   Please note that we can not reserve your plants until we have your payment information on file.
We do not accept COD orders.  We are also not set up to take orders by phone .

Order Processing
Plants are allocated when an order and payment are received on-line, on a first come, first served basis.  Your credit card will not be charged until your order is being prepared for shipment or for your pick up.  Weather permitting, we will begin shipping Spring 2011 orders at the beginning of May, starting with the warmer climate areas.  ORDERS ARE SHIPPED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS based on weather and availability.  

Size and Shipment of Plants
Plants offered are grown in 3.5", 4.5", 6", and gallon containers.  The size is specified in the on-line catalogue.  Some variations may occur.
Please unpack and plant or pot your shipment as soon as it arrives.  Protect  it from frost.  If you believe you have a problem with your plants, please e-mail us immediately at  chris@canningperennials.com.

Pick-up orders -- your plants will be potted.

Navigating the Catalogue
The Catalogue is very simple to use.  All plants are listed by botanical name.  There are three ways to navigate the Catalogue:

1.    Search for a specific plant.  From the Catalogue Menu click on Search.  Enter the botanical name of the plant.

2.    By Category.  All plants are arranged alphabetically by botanical name in several categories.
       Click on the category and browse down the list of plants.
       Click on a specific variety for more information or to make a purchase.

3.    Site Map.  From the Catalogue Menu click on Site Map.
       Site Map provides a complete, clickable list, by category, of all the plants that we offer.
 
Plants Not in the Catalogue
Looking for a special plant not listed in the catalogue?  Please e-mail us.  We may have it at our nursery or we may be able to find it for you.
