Blue Boa Hyssop

A gorgeous new introduction from those clever people at Terra Nova. Mint green foliage set with long, stout stalks bearing dense masses of deep violet-blue flowers. Blooms all summer from June until September. Wonderfully aromatic perennial that will remind you of licorice or aniseed everytime you brush by it. It is a favourite of bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. In the winter it is very popular with chickadees, sparrow and junco who love the tiny black seeds. This is an easy perennial for full sun to partial shade and ordinary garden soil. Note: Compared to 'Blue Fortune', 'Blue Boa' has deeper violet-blue flowers and wider flower spikes.
