This is likely the tallest form of Astilbe growing up to 120 cm when in flower. Blooming in late summer to early fall it produces narrow, upright, lilac-mauve flower spikes held well above a mound of dark green, lacy foliage.

Similar to other Chinese Astilbe it is more drought and sun tolerant. Best grown in part to full shade but is tolerant of sunnier conditions with adequate moisture. HEIGHT: 60-120 cm SPREAD: 60-80 cm
