Haskap is the Japanese name for the Edible Blue Honeysuckle -- apparently meaning 'berry of long life and good vision'. This fast growing shrub produces extra large, elongated berries with an exceptional sweet and tangy flavour. Shrubs are well-behaved, pest and disease free and exceptionally hardy. Haskap are best grown in full sun and fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Important - more than one variety is needed for good berry production.
