Definitely a WOW! plant. Large ball-shaped flowers change from solid green to fuschia or violet-blue depending on soil acidity. Everlasting blooms from May to September on old wood. Excellent compact shrub with very sturdy stalks bearing the large blooms well above the foliage. A fabulous cut flower. Easily grown in part-shade and moist, well-drained soil. Do not prune. Blooms on old wood. Remove dead or damaged wood in the spring. HEIGHT: 80-100 cm SPREAD: 80-100 cm
All hydrangea flowers do undergo some colour changes as they age. Also soil pH can change the flower colour of some cultivars.
