Blue-green foliage with a white mid-rib. Upright and graceful grass. Golden blooms in August followed by white blooms which persist all winter. Note - a bit hardier than most Miscanthus varieties. HEIGHT: 175-225 cm SPREAD: 100-150 cm
General Information Miscanthus
A wonderful group of grasses. Tall, bold and imposing. Will produce a showy fountain of grassy foliage set with tall, highly ornamental flower plumes later in the season. Provides outstanding architecture and colour from late summer, right through the winter. One of the best winter-interest perennials. Easily grown in sun to part shade, in moist, well drained soil. Once established quite drought tolerant. Makes a great impact as an accent specimen or in a group.
