Short Toothed Mountain Mint - Perennial Plant of the Year 2025

This aromatic perennial is a magnet for pollinators, butterflies and hummingbirds. Spearmint scented foliage is set with clusters of pinkish-white flowers (which produce copious amounts of nectar) and surrounded by attractive silver bracts. Long flowering from late July through to September. Best grown in partial sun and average to moist, well-drained soil however tolerant of less than ideal condition. This is a spreading plant and a great choice for naturalizing. However it is not as aggressive as most other members of the mint family. Prevent excessive spreading by removing seed heads. HEIGHT: 80-100 cm SPREAD: 50-60 cm
