Heronswood Mist or Wherry's Foam Flower

Non-trailing form. This low growing perennial forms a compact mound of hairy, maple-shaped leaves which are pale green with maroon highlights. Covered with masses of short white flower spikes in late spring to early summer. Prefers average to consistently moist, well-drained soils in full shade to part shade. Will tolerate a wide range of soil conditions but protect from excessive winter moisture. Tiarella wherryi is more tolerant of drier soils than most varieties in this family. Trim flowers back when finished to maintain compact habit. Deer and rabbit resistant. Low maintenance. HEIGHT: 20-30 cm SPREAD: 20-25 cm
