Large, upright, well-branched shrub with multi-season interest. Pink to reddish buds open to produce large, globular white flowers. Often a beautiful two-tone effect is evident. Blooms produce a sweet, spicy fragrance which will perfume your entire garden and are also attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. Red berries follow, maturing to black which are a bird favourite. Dark green velvety foliage turns burgundy in the fall. Easily grown in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. Prune immediately after flowering. A big, beautiful shrub if you have the room to accomodate it. Makes a great hedge. HEIGHT: 175-200 cm SPREAD: 200-250 cm
